Mustang Trekking

Forbidden Kingdom Mustang that located in the south border of the Tibetan plateau is advised to be a constrained locality where an exceptional trekking allows is needed through a listed trekking agency. Mustang trekking path consists of nearly treeless uninhabited scenery, steep rocky trail up and down the high ground and magnificent outlooks of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Nilgiri, Tukche top, Tilicho top, Mustang Himal, Arniko Chuli and many other stunning peaks. 
Mustang Trek is once an important route for crossing the Himalaya between Tibet and Nepal, and many of the old salt caravans passed through Mustang. Where we will trek to, discovering the wonders of the architecture, language, culture and traditions which are almost purely Tibetan in this once-upon-a-time mystical kingdom.
It is divided up into two regions called upper Mustang Region and Lower Mustang Region. The Lobas, locally renowned as Lo are the inhabitants of the upper Mustang and they have been thriving, cultured worldwide traders. Upper Mustang Trekking is also famous for having some of the biggest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in Nepal, which comprises outstanding artwork. Mustang preserves very old and antic Buddhist monasteries the amazing art, architecture and devout monuments of Tibetan art decimated during Cultural transformation of China in 1950s.
Likewise as same, the smaller Mustang Trek district will let you glimpse awesome altitude, Tibetian Culture, ecological diversity, the sacred valleys enclosed by massive peaks and unique persons from varied ethnic backgrounds. Also, the magnificent outlooks from Pun high ground and Annapurna variety, experiencing the warm natural springs in Tatopani and coming over Tibetan traders and the pilgrimage centre of Muktinath, makes the Mustang trek actually a fascinating and amazing life time experience. 
Lo Manthang is also home to Mustang's former King Jigme Palbar Bista who lost his royal title in 2008 after Nepal became a democratic republic. But he is still highly regarded and respected by the locals. He and his family still occupy the four storied royal palace situated at the center of the city square. We can have an audience with the King and Queen on request.
